Bunny Hop Rules
TSO Bunny Hop Rules
6.1 – Cheating & Third-Party Software
You must not use cheats, scripts, macros, exploits, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Auto-bhop scripts
- Automated strafing
- Movement scripts that provide an unfair advantage
- Speed hacks
- Aimbots or other unrelated cheats
- External software designed to automate movement
- Modified game files intended to provide an advantage
Normal game settings and legitimate configuration options are permitted.
6.2 – Movement Exploits
You may not intentionally abuse unintended movement mechanics to gain an advantage.
This includes exploits that provide:
- Unintended speed
- Increased acceleration
- Unlimited movement
- Bypassing map sections
- Unintended jumps or boosts
- Other movement advantages not intended by the map or gamemode
Normal Bunny Hop movement techniques are permitted.
6.3 – Map Exploits
You may not intentionally abuse bugs, glitches, or unintended map mechanics.
This includes:
- Leaving the intended course
- Skipping sections through unintended areas
- Getting outside the playable map
- Becoming stuck in inaccessible locations
- Using map geometry to bypass checkpoints
- Exploiting unintended collision
If you discover an exploit, report it to staff rather than abusing it.
6.4 – Checkpoint Skipping
You must progress through the map in the intended order.
You may not intentionally bypass checkpoints or map sections unless the map itself allows the shortcut.
Legitimate shortcuts or routes intentionally designed into the map are permitted.
6.5 – Blocking
You may not intentionally obstruct another player’s movement.
This includes:
- Standing in narrow sections to block players
- Intentionally stopping in front of other players
- Using props or entities to obstruct the course
- Deliberately pushing players into hazards
Normal player collisions and accidental obstruction are not punishable.
6.6 – Score & Time Manipulation
You may not intentionally manipulate your score, completion time, rankings, records, or other progression systems.
This includes exploiting server or map mechanics to produce an invalid or artificially improved result.
6.7 – Record Abuse
You may not intentionally submit or obtain an illegitimate personal or world record.
Any record obtained through cheating, exploits, unintended shortcuts, or other prohibited methods may be removed.
6.8 – Fair Play
Players are expected to play Bunny Hop as intended.
You may not intentionally exploit loopholes in these rules or the gamemode to gain an unfair advantage.
If a situation is not specifically covered by these rules, staff may take action where behaviour clearly goes against the intended gameplay or significantly negatively impacts the experience of other players.
