TSO Gun Game Rules
9.1 – Teaming
Players may not intentionally cooperate with other players to gain an unfair advantage.
This includes:
- Agreeing not to kill each other
- Allowing another player to kill you
- Coordinating kills
- Protecting another player
- Working together against other players
- Helping another player progress through their weapons
Gun Game is intended to be played individually.
Normal temporary interactions between players are permitted provided they do not deliberately manipulate the outcome of the match.
9.2 – Boosting
You may not intentionally allow another player to kill you or repeatedly arrange kills in order to help them progress through the weapon cycle.
This includes coordinating with friends or other players to artificially increase:
- Kills
- Weapon progression
- Score
- Rankings
- Wins
- Personal records
Kills must be obtained through normal gameplay.
9.3 – Weapon Progression
Players must progress through the weapon cycle normally.
You may not intentionally manipulate your weapon progression through:
- Exploits
- Boosting
- Server bugs
- Unintended mechanics
- Deliberately arranged kills
- Other methods that bypass normal gameplay
9.4 – Final Weapon
If the final weapon requires a specific type of kill to complete the match, the kill must be obtained through normal gameplay.
You may not arrange for another player to intentionally provide the required kill.
9.5 – Spawn Camping
You may not intentionally camp a spawn point in a way that prevents players from reasonably participating in the game.
Normal combat around spawn areas is permitted.
However, you may not:
- Repeatedly kill a player immediately after they spawn
- Trap players inside spawn
- Block spawn exits
- Intentionally prevent a player from leaving spawn
- Abuse predictable spawn locations to farm kills
9.6 – Spawn Protection Abuse
You may not intentionally abuse spawn protection or other temporary protections to gain an unfair advantage.
This includes using protection to:
- Avoid damage
- Secure kills
- Attack other players
- Block players
- Manipulate combat
9.7 – Map Exploits
You may not intentionally abuse bugs, glitches, or unintended map mechanics to gain an advantage.
This includes:
- Leaving the intended playable area
- Becoming inaccessible to other players
- Exploiting map geometry
- Using unintended locations to avoid combat
- Bypassing intended map areas
- Exploiting collision
- Using map bugs to gain kills or avoid being killed
If you discover an exploit, report it to staff rather than abusing it.
9.8 – Movement Exploits
You may not intentionally abuse unintended movement mechanics to gain an unfair advantage.
This includes unintended:
- Speed
- Acceleration
- Boosts
- Jumping mechanics
- Collision behaviour
- Movement interactions
Normal movement techniques and mechanics intended by the gamemode are permitted.
9.9 – Cheating & Third-Party Software
You may not use cheats, scripts, macros, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Aimbots
- Wallhacks
- Triggerbots
- Automated firing
- Recoil scripts
- Movement automation
- Speed hacks
- Modified game files intended to provide an advantage
9.10 – Score & Statistic Manipulation
You may not intentionally manipulate your score, kills, deaths, rankings, weapon progression, records, or other statistics.
This includes using alternate accounts, boosting, exploits, or other methods to artificially increase statistics.
9.11 – Delaying
You may not intentionally delay the progression or completion of a match.
Players are expected to actively participate in the game.
Normal defensive play, hiding temporarily, repositioning, or avoiding another player is permitted.
You may not deliberately remain inactive or continuously avoid combat for the purpose of preventing the match from progressing.
9.12 – Griefing
You may not intentionally disrupt or ruin the gameplay experience of other players.
This includes:
- Intentionally blocking players
- Deliberately preventing players from accessing areas
- Repeatedly interfering with another player’s gameplay
- Intentionally manipulating map mechanics
- Deliberately disrupting the match
Normal competitive behaviour is not considered griefing.
9.13 – Chat & Voice Abuse
Voice and text communication must not be used to spam, harass, or deliberately disrupt other players.
This includes:
- Microphone spam
- Soundboard spam
- Chat flooding
- Excessive screaming
- Repeatedly playing loud audio
- Intentionally disrupting other players through communication
9.14 – Round Manipulation
You may not intentionally manipulate the outcome of a match.
This includes:
- Deliberately throwing a match
- Arranging a specific winner
- Boosting another player
- Repeatedly suiciding to manipulate progression
- Deliberately preventing another player from winning
- Coordinating the final kill
Players are expected to compete normally until the match ends.
9.15 – Fair Play
Players are expected to play Gun Game as intended.
You may not intentionally exploit loopholes in these rules or the gamemode to gain an unfair advantage.
If a situation is not specifically covered by these rules, staff may take action where behaviour clearly goes against the intended gameplay or significantly negatively impacts the experience.
